Jim had the perfect talent required of a BBC Radio Suffolk trails maker – he could speak for minutes on end without taking a breath. (Either that, or he was damned good at editing.) If you were looking for edgy radio – and obviously Radio Suffolk would be your first port of call – then Jim was your man. Many's the time we’d think, ‘Did he really just say that?’ And, when they gave him a record show, ‘Did he really just play that?’ Like us, Jim realised the secret of a good party was organisation and planning to the nth degree. Jim and Shaz’s parties were such brilliant affairs, we were almost tempted to arrive at the first sitting and throw off all our clothes (with a huge emphasis on the word ‘almost’)! We’ll miss the fun, Jim.
